Exploring Our Heritage - Our Voice with Create Place FellowsIntroduction
These meetings will explore how participants interact with the Our Heritage, Our Voice platform. This platform is built on the open‑source DECIDIM system (‘we decide’ in Catalan), and in these sessions we will gather insights on how we can collaboratively enhance its design and functionality for participatory heritage governance.
Details
This series of sessions will introduce the heritage‑participation platform Our Heritage – Our Voice and work with participants to collectively shape its future development. The platform is built on the open‑source DECIDIM framework (Catalan for “we decide”), an internationally co‑designed system created to support participatory governance through flexible and transparent digital tools for democratic processes.
These sessions are designed to give CREATE PLACE Fellows a grounded understanding of the potential of such participatory systems. Participants will learn to navigate and actively engage with the platform, and will contribute to its ongoing refinement to ensure it is fit for purpose, supporting participation by providing an additional digital tool.
Our Heritage – Our Voice is the first participatory‑governance DECIDIM installation in the UK.
Objectives
