The Potteries Museums & Art Gallery – Interpretation and Accessibility Reimagined
In 2022 we launched a Development Prospectus setting out the future vision for The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery (PMAG). Following the successful completion of the first two phases of the journey and the current delivery of Phase Three, we are now focusing our attention on the biggest challenge of all, the reinterpretation of the ground floor exhibition galleries.
Following a successful Expression of Interest application to the National Heritage Lottery Fund, we have been invited to submit a Development Phase application to explore what a reimagined PMAG would look like. If successful, this will be the first time the ground-floor galleries have been significantly updated since the late 1980s and this is a real opportunity to ensure the museum and our collections reflect the communities and residents of the modern city today.
In order for us to ensure we are on the right track, we really need your thoughts on the proposed themes below and anything you would really like to see in the museum. If you could please take a few minutes to complete this survey it will really help us develop our application and shape the future of PMAG, thank you.
