Community events can be hugely important for VCSE organisations; for raising awareness, fundraising, networking, or celebrating your organisation’s successes.

Planning an event doesn’t need to be complicated – but it’s important to make sure you’re prepared.

Knowing about licensing and permissions can leave your head spinning, but it doesn't have to be all red tape and legal barriers if you understand the requirements. In this session, we’ll explain what you need to know about the legal side of planning events so that you can start to discuss these things and have the right conversations early in the planning process.

You’ll also get some advice and guidance on how to plan your events to meet your aims and objectives, to attract the right audiences, and manage staff and volunteers effectively.

From brainstorming to evaluation, this training will equip you with the knowledge and skills to ensure your event goes smoothly from inception to delivery, and beyond…

VAST has a wealth of knowledge and a century of experience so you can rest assured that you’re getting the training you deserve.

This training is free for VAST members. Not a member? Sign up here.
